Our psychologists are available nationally to carry out psychological assessments

Our psychologists are available to carry out full psychological assessments of clients, which includes a full developmental history, including childhood history, educational history, employment history, relationship history, substance misuse history, mental health history, forensic history, and an assessment of personality functioning. Other issues can be added to the assessment as required to create a fully bespoke assessment for the client.

Assessments will use the psychological formulation developed to address issues such as risk to children, ability to prioritise a child’s needs, ability to protect, ability to provide good enough parenting, issues relating to contact, ability to stay separated from an abusive partner, ability to work with professionals, openness and transparency, motivation for change, and treatment options, along with providing a prognosis and timescale for any treatment recommended.

Full psychological assessments will usually be produced within two weeks of the client assessment appointment.
