Expert Witness Fees

The hourly rates charged for expert witnesses are determined by The Legal Aid Agency

When you make a request for expert witness fees for a case you will receive a detailed quote, with a breakdown of aspects of costs, including travel and expenses.

Expert Witness Fees are as follows:

  • Psychologist Fees: £93.60 per hour
  • Psychiatrist Fees: £108.00 per hour
  • Independent Social Workers: £33.00 per hour
